Forget unemployment! Make Money by Cleaning Offices
As I write this, high unemployment is gripping America. Some have described the change in America as one of structural unemployment. Structural unemployment results from a mismatch between demand in the labor market and the skills and locations of the workers seeking employment. Even though jobs may be available, the unemployed workers may lack the skills needed for the jobs; or they may not live in the part of the country or world where the jobs are available. Workers are “left behind” due to costs of training and moving (e.g., the cost of selling one’s house in a depressed local economy), plus inefficiencies in the labor markets. Have you joined the ranks of the unemployed?
A recent study showed that about 50% of the population is engaged in some form of self-employment. There are many reasons for choosing self-employment, such as those who have chosen to make money cleaning offices. Some people have the goal of increasing their earnings; others desire to have more time with their families or time for their other interests in life. These are achievable to anyone who is willing to invest time and effort in a commercial cleaning business to make money by cleaning offices and other buildings.
I want to help those who are seriously interested in learning to make money cleaning offices as well as improving the business prospects of those who already have an established contract cleaning service. My purpose is to present a number of ideas to help you grow, manage, and make your janitorial service more profitable.
A couple of times per week, I’ll be posting ideas so that you can make money with an office cleaning business! Got question? Please ask?
